About
La Vie
En Slow
Where slow living cultivates mental well-being
La vie en slow is about how we can move through life with intention.
We created this space as a gentle reminder to prioritize presence, connection and
mental well-being.
What we believe
Slowing down is not a luxury.
Travel can be gentle and still deeply meaningful.
Mental wellbeing is something we care for over time—not something to fix overnight.
And presence has a way of changing everything.
Our Story
This way of living didn’t begin as a concept. It’s something we’ve been drawn to for many years. We’ve always traveled a little differently—taking our time, staying longer, letting places unfold instead of rushing through them. It was through that way of traveling that we found each other—meeting in Spain in 2017, both on our own journeys at the time.
From the beginning, something about moving slowly felt natural to us. As the years passed, it became something we valued deeply.
In 2023, we lost our dear friend to suicide. He was part of many of those journeys—someone who shared our love for travel and meaningful moments.
The pain and sorrow from suicide loss was immense. Slowing down became our saving grace. It gave us space to breathe, to feel and to grieve – unhurriedly. It also deepened our understanding of what it means to truly be well.
La Vie En Slow grew from that place, maturing into living simply and more intentionally. Over time, it became something we felt ready to share.
We are Thuy and Will, partners in life, and companions on this journey to impart a little slowness into your daily life.
We dedicate La Vie En Slow to the memory of Antoine Tessier.
You’re welcome here—
whether you’re just beginning to slow down,
or already on that path.
