About
La Vie
En Slow
A quiet response to a fast moving world
We believe meaningful moments don’t come from doing more, but from slowing down enough to fully feel where we are.
Through quiet rituals, nature, sound, mindful travel and community, our experiences are designed to help you rest deeply, move gently and reconnect with yourself.
La vie en slow is not an escape from life—but a slower way of returning to it.
Our Story
We had both been drawn to a slower way of living long before we met in Spain in 2017 —both on solo journeys at the time. That shared rhythm became the foundation of our life together. Over the years, slow travel and time spent close to nature shaped the way we moved through the world.
In 2023, we lost a dear friend to suicide. He was part of many of those journeys—someone who loved our slow approach to life. In the depths of grief, slowing down became our refuge. It gave us space to rest, to feel, and to grieve without urgency. It also deepened our compassion for those navigating emotional pain, burnout, anxiety, and disconnection.
La Vie En Slow was born from a desire to create the kinds of spaces that helped us heal—spaces that invite people to breathe more deeply, move more gently and remember that wellbeing is not something to chase, but something to return to.
We are Thuy and Will—partners in life, slow travelers at heart, and companions on this journey to inspire a little more presence and slowness into everyday life.
*We are not a substitute for therapy or medical care, but a complementary space for rest and connection.
You’re welcome here—
whether slowing down feels new, or already part of your way of life.
We dedicate La Vie En Slow to the memory of Antoine Tessier.
